STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast™

Controller support
Having trouble using my Ps4 controller. It was working before but now no luck since a steam update. My ps4 config support is on in big picture mode. The controller works on every game I have except for Jedi Knight. I’ve tried reinstalling the game with no luck as well. Please help.

Check and see if windows game mode isnt messing with it. Or If all else fails use ds4windows to simulate a xb1 controller.

Dude this game was made ages ago. In a time with little to no support for controllers while using any Windows game. Lol. You might want to consider getting the Dolphin emulator and getting yourself a copy of the Gamecube version if you want to have an easy time setting up and using a controller for this game. I am not saying you can't do it, but you are going to have a tough time setting up the controller for this game and you will probably need some third party software to manage the controllers inputs for you. You can try "DS4Windows". Search it up on Youtube/Google search.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast only has Partial Controller support. So you will always have to use the mouse and keyboard at some point during play. Whether it be for menus or some other feature that can't be mapped to the controller. But, Partial Controller Support usually means it will work well in game. That is assuming the controller is fully supported by Windows, which a PS4 controller is not. You have to use a third party driver software to handle the PS4 controller and it's inputs.

DS4Windows seems to be the most popular option.

Hope all this helps.
