What's the chronological order for the Jedi Knight games?

I understand this story consists of Dark Froces, Dark Forces 2, Mysteries of the Sith (Dark Forces expansion), Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast. In what order do the events of the story happen in these games?

According to mickey mouse, none of it "happened" at all.
The time frame is opaque. The first mission of Dark forces involved the theft of the Death Star plans. Everything else seems to be set after "Return of the Jedi".
Disney now holds the rights to these games, but don't acknowledge the storylines (same goes for the books written between ep.6 and the prequels) because they want to write their own.

Yes, I do realize this, that is why, for this particular bundle of games and this storyline, I'd like to consider only these games canon as well as any references that they refer to from other Star Wars sources.
