steam cloud bug?
If I play on my desktop in linux, the game saves to the cloud and I'm able to play from the same point on my windows laptop. But when I finish on my windows laptop and go back to my linux desktop, I don't see the progress I made while I was on the laptop. I've also noticed the game interface is a little different between the two... just a minor difference that makes me think maybe they're not running the same version? Is there a save file I can manually copy back to my desktop so I don't have to replay the 10-12 levels cleared while travelling last week? Both steam clients show the "uploading to cloud" and then "cloud up to date" after exiting and both are logged into this account..

I was able to find/copy the save file and can tolerate that minor convenience in case a cause cannot be found.

- Where to find log file (in case of the problem)?
macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
Windows: C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Oroboro games\TrainValley2\output_log.txt
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Oroboro games/TrainValley2/Player.log

it's "save-file.bin" in the folders above for anyone else out there looking.

I copied output_log.txt from the MSI to the acer. I noticed there was no output_log.txt on the acer. Anyway, it didn't solve the problem. Maybe I have to change something in the txt file like to graphics card?
Right folder, wrong file. Replace the output log filename (everything after the last / or \ character) with save-file.bin
