Japanese Trails - Heavy Industries - What's the trick?

I can't build a bridge over the Replicated train when land lowers at beginning so the one train crashes from there. Then later on the other Automatic trains start up and start crashing because I can't build bridges to them and the money just goes lower and lower.

Main question, should I be able to build a bridge or other route after the land drops at the beginning and also to the Automatic Car factory on the East side?
