Level 26: Golden Gate - how to connect it? Not clear
I absolutely love this game, as well as the previous version.

That been said, I have troubles to understand how to connect or what to do on Level 26: Golden Gate.
I thought that at some point I need to have all the 3 requested resources , which I did, but nothing happen.
I don't know if this is a bug or if something else needs to be done, which I can't think of.

Hey @kanikoramone, thanks for your question! You need to deliver those resources to the city, because the bridge is technically an interactive city district.

Look at my map - 6 bridges. It will help you.

Thanks for the response!
Maybe it's just me, but I think it could use some kind of indicator to make it a more straight forward guess

I'm sorry. I must be dense, but I still can't figure it out. I don't see a "city". I delivered it to the station that generates workers and it just kicks the goods back out. Where exactly do I deliver them? Can you show a snapshot? Anytime I try to run a rail anywhere in the area of the bridge anything run into there just crashes. I'll try to look at other responses.. perhaps someone has a picture. I note that I can put rail on the streets.. do I just park the stuff there?
No matter what I try, the "requirement flag" does not tick down.
OK, after fooling with this for a silly amount of time given that it is just an oversight on the part of the designer, the station by the city which originates workers IS the correct place (no added track is needed). The issue is that you MUST enter the goods in exactly the order and quantities that are shown "hovering" over the bridge. You must do STEEL first, CONCRETE SACKS next and finally COILED STEEL. Each must be filled before you can put anything else in. If you put things in properly, the "requirement flags" will count down and then vanish as you fulfill (or exceed) them.
Happy railroading all!

Hello, @toppop3! Indeed, at this level, it is not too obvious that the bridge is a "city". As for the order of supply of resources. It happens that resources can be delivered in any order because different cities belonging to the same station required them (as in this screenshot[imgur.com]). It happens that the order of delivery of resources is important (as in this screenshot[imgur.com]), then the designer uses one city and assigns him a "pile" of resources - because this is the level design. In this case, the "city" is unusual: a bridge is built as resources are delivered. I see that you already figured it out, but just in case, here is a video with the walkthrough of this level. Perhaps it will help other players.

I just ran into the same problem and almost had multiple trains crash because they bounced out of the city. Please make it more clear that the order of deliveries matters, since it hasn't for the 25 levels before this...

Holy heck this level is terrible. I had wrecked so many trains trying to figure it out. Eventually giving up and googling and finding this post. This level REALLY needs to be patched to have some explaination about how you're meant to deliver the goods, also if the goods are meant to go to the station, why aren't they shown at the station instead of at the bridge..

But this has been 4, nearly 5 years and they haven't fixed it, so I really doubt they ever will :-/

This is a mechanic in many levels. That is why the symbols are partially or in some levels even completely hidden underneath the former one. Okay, maybe this isn't really obvious, but imagine it like destoying a house for example. You work from top to bottom and don't start in the middle.

(Well, at least if you don't have a huge amount of dynamite at hand :D )
