I'm a big fan of the thriller genre in general and VR would seem to be the perfect vehicle for it, but this title delivers zero thrills and even less fun. I was really hoping for VR "Psycho" or even "Identity", but what you get here is some bad voice acting, terrible sound quality, and one poorly executed jumpscare.

The only saving grace is that you can complete the entire "episode" in less time than the refund allowance period. Definitely not worth paying for.

Note for Oculus players: the button mapping is off for this game, but it does work. You press Y/X or A/B instead of the joystick / directional indicated by the game. You still press trigger to grab and grab button to teleport. Roomscale setup is recommended because some items are on the ground and just beyond standing reach.

I finished the game in 1.5 hours, but it's really a 45 minute game. It's just very clunky and if you don't do things a certain way you'll have to replay from checkpoints that can be slow and frustrating to have to do over again. I did experience one crash during my playthrough. I was able to leave the game and come back to my last checkpoint.

So this is a narrative driven thriller game. The problem is that the visuals are lackluster as well as the voice-acting. The story was slow and plodding up until the end. I did enjoy the ending, but there was lots of filler in between. This game is a very basic walking simulator without the visuals, sounds, or story to push you forward. It feels like you're dragged to the finish line. I don't mind bad visuals in a walking simulator as long as the story is strong (e.g. The Eerie Inn VR). In this case the pacing was off and there was no character depth to any of the characters.

The gameplay was too basic. It was object hunting. I think only the next to last puzzle had any logic to it as far as what you have to do. The gameplay mechanics were very clunky. You could teleport through walls. There's circles around objects to tell you where to place them.

The game is on sale currently for $3.19 USD and I actually paid $5.19 back in October of last year's sale. I definitely did not get my money's worth. I'm happy to delete and uninstall. Not the worst game, but it feels like $1.99 mobile VR port quality. I would recommend this game on mobile VR.

Too short. Waste of money. During whole "game" you will take 5 items, lay it to another place and that's all. Whole game. Dislike for know. The only thing I like here is place and environment. Desert and cacuses. But they are not worth that money.
Don't waste your time.

Liking this game alot. It's a cool setting short story with interactive environment and teleport locomotion.
Has a nice classic adventure game feel to it.
Not everything is interactive but just enough to keep it satisfying.

I like the narration and hearing what my character is thinking. Helps move the story along nicely.

The graphics are great, but this game doesn't give away enough clues as to what you are supposed to be doing or why. Example 1: Find a coin. Search the entire level from top to bottom and eventually find it somewhere that has been suspiciousy accessible throughout the game. Example 2: You wait for the police to arrive. They arrive, ope your bedroom door, and for some reason that's Game Over. Ok... Why....? Check the hints. You have to bar the door... ok... why? I'm sure that defeats the point of having CALLED THEM JUST 5 MINUTES AGO!
DEVS: There is no logic to this game and it continually feels like the player could do with a little more help. Oh, and searching every inch of the environment 15 times for a tiny thing I need is NOT fun.

Well, I bought this game after following it for a long while and figured after some updates it may be worth TAKING A RISK supporting the developer. But when I played it a few weeks ago I found the game in serious want. The idea is good as I would like to see more adventure games in VR because they obviously work well with the room-scale but in game form the idea fell flat.
The only way I can put my review in words to sum it all up is that the graphics need to be cleared up, the story is slow and bland, and trying to kill a cop coming into your room was a big hassle. Why not just whack him as he came through the door? I didn't really get that. The whole game was just not smooth and intuative nor really fun in any sense. What is there is a start to something that could be a lot better (in a larger story) but for now it falls short and after leaving suggestions after playing nothing has been done except to release the game from early access. Therefore, I hate doing this but I have to say don't buy this game !!! It needs a lot more work to be a real interesting and fun game.

Just canceled my refund as I got it working smoother on oculus I put it in windows compatibility mode.The game is a exciting mystery.Possibly make the cars drivable in the desert.Praise Jesus!

Certainly a little awkward in it's character/story choreography, but this is decently unsettling and there's alot going on with the time of day change stuff and progression through the narrative.

It looks kinda decent, plays ok, but there are a lot things that are really anoying.
Can't finish the game, due to being 'killed' over and over, with no indication on where to stand..
Sorry, but this is so frustrating that I cannot recommend this game.
And the hintsystem showed me a 5th hint that I already had as a third, thereby not getting the needed hint..
It could have been a great game, but it's just too slow and what the cop says just doesn't make any sense..
It's a shame, if they only spend a bit more time on the game/story it could have been a great (short) game..

Maybe I'll try it again some other day and see if it will give a usefull hint for how to defeat the cop..

this is a full game? detail is incredibly imbalanced, the story is barely there. not a fan.
