Yeah, keep up with the snide personal attacks, because if your argument sucks attack the person... amirite?
That picture isn't the starting outfit.
When you talk to any character, male or female, they're all the same height.
A "pointy chin" means nothing. Almost every male anime hero has a pointy chin. Not all the males in this game have got lantern jaws!
Well it's clearly not obvious, because I'm not the only person who was surprised when the intro identified the protagonist as female.
When did I ask for Sal to be stacked? Female NPCs are obviously women... and the artist managed this without giving them outlandish proportions.
That's a pretty horrible point of view to have, which is why I made some snide comments, especially since you seem to not want to hear any actual arguments anyway.
Same. I'm fine with females not being overly sexualized but the character looks nothing like a female to me. There are other females in the early art that have more female looking faces.
You can unlock more outfits later so maybe that's how this is supposed to work.
Rubbish. You're the one yelling about ridiculous proportions, I never even remotely asked for anything like that.
You're making a pathetic strawman argument... putting words in my mouth and arguing against what I never even said.
What arguments? The ones where you make up points to argue against?
The player's character is the most important one in the game... it's the character you see 100% of the way through in every fight or negotiation. Out of all the female characters I've seen, Sal looks the least like a woman. Why? Who is an androgynous woman supposed to appeal to?
At the end of the day, it's the developers game and they can do what they like. If they want to make a totally bland unmemorable character, that's their prerogative... even if it ultimately hurts game sales.
I mean, a lot of women look kinda androgynous in certain outfits
That's solely for the creators to judge. If they wanted androgyny then mission accomplished. You as an observer of art get nothing: no rights, no privileges- nothing. Take it or leave it.
