slow players at PVP
it annoys me that too many people are too slow in PVP, i understand if the cards are new for them, but doesnt mean it should be tested and learned in PVP. please read the cards to understand the effects and such outside ranked duels. the point of the duel link is short fight and fast and i mean real fast.

And what about people that play slow decks in order to beat you in an OTK, got a problem with them?
well tbh there are a lot of reasons why ppl play slowly or it appears that they play slowly, first and foremost: options, if i have a hand with 3 playable cards do i just rush the hand or do i think about what you could do in response and play ahead if it's even worth playing it in the first place, second: reading of card text, this does include your cards, there are some tech cards that are really weird and you won't see often or you just make sure that oyu have the correct effect text in mind, this eats up time too third: phone users, the game is a bit awkward to use on a phone so it can cost time too to make sure you select the right card etc forth: deliberate slow plays, they just try to stall you bc they're annoyed by how you play, if oyu think that is thae case report them after the game and they might face consequences.

Pfft like people actually think about their next move. They just play all cards they can then either Otk or get Otkd:cleanseal:

Very well said, I take no issue at all when people take their time to make plays or respond to mine, the clock is there and both players have the right to use the time as they wish. The obvious exception is just deliberate stalling/slow play, which as eXz says can be reported.

And hey, at least in digital yu-gi-oh we don't have to wait for people to manually shuffle their decks every 2 minutes :)

Tbh I get it and am understanding if they have a bad wi-fi connection. But when people are deliberately spending 30 seconds to a minute per move I feel they are taking the ****. Even worse when they deliberately do it when they have a face down spell/trap card on the field and they take the same long time before deciding not to use it, every time you play something. I don't think they are necessary bad but just take the **** on purpose to either annoy you or take an unfair tactical advantage.

Or when they wait for 3 min clock to expire before obvious lose on their turn ( for example if they have to deal with lava golem in next turn and are under 1k lp ).

This is actually one of the very reasons KONAMI began making your card draw itself after a set period of time during the draw phase as some trollish players who would lose their next turn via Lava Golem (as you said) or Burning Land etc would not act on their draw phase and just wait for the clock to tick down and take the loss or hope their opponent surrenders.

it also might be that they are busy doing something along with playing the game so their attention is not on the game the whole time. i sometimes going away for a minute to take some snack, why? coz i feel like doing it right away, i dont care about my opp sitting there waiting for me to do something lol. i like it when opp sits there staring at screen waiting for 2 minutes just to see to be wiped out and click surrender that moment lol.

Well where else you suggest to test?, vs NPCs, sure, but on pvp be sure there will be instances were a new combo or manny possibilitys show up in your hand, and player's backrow and monsters are more significant than npc's. Thus players always try to go for the most optimal play and if failed, try to learn from that experience to improve the deck matchup.

Now, if you dont like waitening too much, I would reocmmend having some music on the background but keep the game sound, you can literally watch a youtube video as you wait for a play; but as soon as you hear a sound effect, return to the duel, check the log and your good to continue dueling.

Hi guys! sure there are many reason of why the slow play is causing this, but i also forgot to add that it's even more annoying that if there are deck that you always use and know how it works then that's what makes me annoying knowing the player deliberately slow plays.

Stop playing a deck with a million effects then. Then I wouldn't have to read your cards to see what you're trying to do.
