it's under the discussion 'AG support'
If they really cared they would lift the Fur Hire nerfs
I like them
I'm mean, seriously, look at the rate they're releasing, 1 box and 1 minibox per month.
I'm not into the RL card game, but my estimates are certainly that they won't be able to continue to "power creep" and release newer cards before catching up with the real-world cards. And although I don't want to compliment the current card-set too much, it certainly seems way better than what the Duel Links developers could keep up with if they had to make completely original cards for every new box/mini-box twice a month.
So, although I don't know anything about the news, I think it's a safe bet that within 2 years (maybe one) they'll dump this and push a newer version of Yugioh instead.
Keep in mind that the entire Yugioh cardset is a very valuable commodity that took many many years to develope, and Duel Links is reportedly only taking in about $5-million per month.
Moreso, BECAUSE they're releasing the cards so quickly, it really SEEMS LIKE they're rushing to get to the end of the developement cycle and start over rather than trying to keep the game around.
But if anyone has more specific information to substantiate a one-year time-table, please post or link it here.
Thanks.
