Quintet Magician is super busted

I play on mobile, but yeah, this guy is nuts.

Don't be fooled by his fusion requirements - Magicalized Fusion makes it stupidly easy to bring this guy out. What does this card do? It lets you use cards on your field or in your graveyard as fusion materials - basically, super polymerization for spellcasters.

What decks are going to be using this? Magician Girl decks, Dark Magician decks and Gravekeeper decks. As if that wasn;t easy enough, you can use the super busted combo of Future Fusion with Magicalised Fusion to make bringing this guy out a 2 card combo. Yikes.

Except Quintet isn't a problem, if Quintet was a problem then it would have won any spot in the KC Cup, instead it is just tossed aside with other Spellcaster decks because he isn't viable without Grass which isn't even viable it's just for meme decks

Well, I guess it's a step forward in your case of admitting your flaws, tho I'm not really sure the lack of that specific thing is something you'd want to make known to the world, but I'm glad I'm not the one who said it, so Steam can't ban me for insults.

you are misunderstanding. i know that it needs 5 different name of spellcaster class type which is why i did mention that Quintet Magician was succesfully summoned. Still the effect from Quintet Magician won't activate regardless following the required summoning condition of Quintet Magician.

Totally agree mate he needs a heavy nerf, removing all opponents cards from the field is a massive table changer even with 2k attack he would still be a massively strong card.

I just finished a duel where I had 5k life points 2 traps, 2 monsters on the field thin this piece of bull comes out wipes the field takes me down to 500 lp and then he activates some trap to summon a monster to finish me off. It needs a heavy nerf.

Just wanted to post an update. I haven't done much PvP this season, but my Quintet Magician deck(s) have progressed pretty quickly up thought Platinum. I expect to leave Platinum and get into Legend 1 when I finally get around to playing enough PVP games.

On the other hand, while my win ratio has be much more than good enough to get into Platinum 7, (and I'm pretty sure Legend 1 if and when I try,) the loss ration is way too high to expect to get through the stringent requirements of 5 sequential wins in each of 5 Legend Ranks, and compensating for demotions, at least not without playing a really really really huge number of games waiting to get lucky. As such, I really don't consider it to be "KoG-able."

I only know the history of Duel Links second hand, but the recent seasons with no-demotions were obviously the easiest one for reaching KoG. On the other hand, I've been told that this is the first season where there are 5 Legend Ranks, and as such, (if I what I've been told about the requirement is true,) I'm pretty sure that making KoG is harder than ever, despite Legend being relatively easy.
