Question about handgun upgrades...

For those of us who have played this, is there a way to upgrade the other handguns you pick up? ive noticed that using the workbench and upgrading, only upgrades the first handgun you find. For preorder dlc we were given another handgun. its either a huge shame (if they are not upgradeable) or im a massive fool for not knowing something?

I think it's written somewhere ingame upgrades affect all weapons within weapon type.

It actually lists the stuff impacted or says all. There's a few exceptions like you can't increase the double-barrel's magazine size for instance (and it is stated in game), but most stuff applies to all the weapons of a "class".

Cheers guys this helps alot :) i must have missed the message! I always play with the starter stuff, max it out and use it through to the end, then on my second play through i like to use the other "variants" of weapons, i just didnt want my second playthrough to be "too similar" if ya get me lol.
