no the upgrades to the game engine made some changes to the way the skin shaders look. They look really good. But it does make his face look super smooth like a baby and its a bit odd at times.

There is a sequence of "young" Sebastian where he is wearing his blue dress shirt. There is one in the 1st game (the Assignment), and the one in this game.

When it comes to that texture model of Sebastian, they look pretty identical though.
So I think they made the change on purpose, instead of due to mere port of the texture from the 1st game

Bethesda most likely forced tango gameworks to put black characters into the game. Its the trend lately that all AAA games must have important roles played by black characters.

Its so cringe how much AAA games try and make games race equal these days..
