Game looks amazingly good but 30 gb for a demo?

All I can say is wow so far,Ive seen the gameplay the graphics and the world is just amazing! How long is the demo? Usually 1 mission on most games but cant wait to try this one out!

The size of the full game + DLC is 34gb for me. seems like they have you download the entire game in order to play the trial? might of been easier / cheaper to do it this way then a standalone demo. who knows. Just bought the game and loving it! so if you do decide to purchase it you wont have to redownload 30gbs lol.

Complain complain complain. all everybody does is complain. It is a great game. lots of fun. Nothing is perfect.

Did you download the Demo yourself first before buying?

Im gonna buy this game regardless, only getting the demo to have it downloaded for when I do buy it.

I guess the trial is the full game, just with a spot that locks your progress and aks you to buy the game to advance any further, isn't it? And they probably went that way, because they don't need to send patches to different builds of the game to keep the demo representative for the final product. Out of curiosity, does the demo stop at a certain time or location?

Yes, when you download the demo it essentially downloads the full game but locked down to the first 3 chapters. Once you decide to purchase the game it will unlock the full game and you can continue where you left off as the saves transfer over.

Actually the assets you would need would be a large part of the game anyway. Most of the textures, models,sounds, music. All that you wouldn't need is the cutscenes after chaper 3 and the mission scripts ( which are usually small in size ). Not suprised that the download is almost the whole game.
