Sykes fate (Spoilers.)
Any of you guys think he survived?

I mean even if he did get out they killed everyone with a chip. (Though he did say he was going to disable his chip as soon as he got out.)
(And the system said that he had a 25% chance of even getting out of STEM intact.)

I really want him to be alive, he just pinned me as the best side character in the game.

I really hope he got out, but the realist in me says he did not. As soon as he leaves you listen to an audio log saying the project was scrapped because only 25% make it, the rest literally just disappear from existance :\
I hope he got out and removed his chip right away. But another thing, he was in a tub in the big circular room right? If he got out they would have seen him trying to leave :\ Unless they took him to debreifing and he escaped then... I hope thats it.
I hope he got out, and the people in the room saw him, immediately took him for a medical exam and debreifing where he was able to make his escape and remove his chip, although the only way to remove it is with that drill thingy right? :|
I don't think I'd trust that thing, I'd be worried about getting a lobotomy in the process, and who knows, maybe that is the point ;)
If someone wants to leave, they get lobotomized.
Now that I think about it as I type this, I bet that is EXACTLY what that machine does. It drills REALLY deep for a subdermal implant. I mean, it came out pretty covered in bood in the one part.
I bet that damn thing lobotomizes the poor sap who wants to leave and live a regular life.

All you can really do is speculate because of how ambigious it is, I just assumed he got lucky and made it out into the real world, removed his chip and got as far away from mobius as he could. But then again, Sebastian was pretty unsure of whether it would work or not before he even listened to the recordings of the experiment and asked Sykes to stay with him and help find Lily (to which Sykes refused), implying Sykes didn't actually make it out into the real world. Eh, who knows? :P

That dude is dead. Even if he got out, he wouldn't get an instant surgery that quickly and effortlesly removes the chip out of his head, to prevent it from killing him when signal comes through.

Also, now that I remember him, was he just about to say "IS IT BECAUSE I AM BLACK?", when Sebastian says that he does not belong in Mobius? lol

well he has the whole hacker thing going for it so he could have convinently disabled the chip ages ago.

I guess even if all 5 mobius team member survives and got out of stem, they will still die in the end.

*END GAME SPOILER*
At the very end of the game, you'll notice that one of the computers reboots, and tries to reinitialize STEM. The final line of code says that STEM has been successfully reinitialized!
My theory is that the pod next to the computer is Syke's pod, and after he was moved to the deep layer of STEM, he removed his chip and is now trying to find his way back... potentially the next games antagonist!

Didn't Kidman remove hers?
There's a chance he might have made it.
The only thing that has me curious is how he would have left without anyone noticing if he really was in one of those pods

Maybe he rebooted it from the INSIDE?!

Probably dead.
He was lucky with the pod. He got out and shouted at the Mobius staff: Hey, guys! I'm back.
10 minutes later Kidman shut down the entire STEM system, and his head blew up like everyone else's with a chip in their head.

The end

I hoped he was alive, but I just finished my third playthrough on nightmare+ and I found him dead in Theodore's lair before I even got to his second side mission before confronting Theodore.. Not sure what I did but there he was with an axe or a harpoon is his chest.
