Vergil instant judgement cut

Installed this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycry5/mods/568
Not sure how to do instant judgement cut on the ground. Does anyone know how?
In the air it's possible...

Hold the attack button down, should do it

I thought it might be like how you do it in the air. As in comes out straight away as soon as you press the button...
