For those who are saying that DMD and SOS needs to be nerfed.
Play Dark Souls until you complete it, then come back.

SoS, no. DMD though with V especially is just tedious.
Jokes on you, I've finished Dark Souls 1, Cuphead AND Crash Bandicoot !

Wait, what? Dark Souls is a breeze compared to DMD. The whole "Dark Souls is the hardest game ever" thing is a meme.

If you know what you're doing DS is just a good, fun RPG that's also challenging. DMD is something else entirely. DMC has fast-paced action that requires you keep pace while calculating your actions all time, while DS has plenty of time for you to breathe.

Comparing DMC on DMD difficulty to Dark Souls is insane. DS doesn't have style points/ranks that require you to keep hitting the enemy all the time while changing what you're doing at the same time that you're dodging and defending yourself while worried about enemy DT all at the same time. Totally different games and combat styles.

I've beaten the game on every difficulty (currently trying to S rank everything) and as someone has pointed out already, DMD is just tedious. Dark Souls is so much fun and you can play it in so many ways while DMD is just "hey what if it's the same game but it takes four times the time to beat every enemy?". If it wasn't for the achievements I would have dropped it 'cause it just felt like a chore. Even HoH was more fun.
I've beaten every souls game to date. I'm not sure what that has to do with DMC though: apples and oranges if you ask me.

For what it's worth, SoS has felt like an absolute joke. The only time I've had trouble is with the final boss, and even then it's because I want to do it without using any gold orbs (I have about 24 of them). I did it with Dante, so now it's just a matter of learning it as Nero. I'm looking forward to DMD.

DMC5 on Son of Sparda alone is a lot more difficult than Dark Souls 1 or 3, as far as I'm concerned.
And I completed them to 100%

Not everything has to be adjusted. 2 or 3 missions are braindead on DMD when you want No Damage on Dante Must Die. Difficulty through massive HP is not a good choice.

Hate to agree with a hashtag but if DMC 5 gets easier I won't be able to go "f*ck yes" *fist pump* whenever I actually make some progress.

If you can't git gud then use Gorbs. Lots of them.
