Game demands money so I can keep playing

It was a decent spectacle fighter. Until I got to the flying boss. I got in with pretty low hp and died rather early. Option to revive in the middle of the fight? WTF? Sure. Spent a golden orb, whatever. But I died again when the boss was quite low. Not enough red orbs to revive again, no more golden orbs.

Start over from checkpoint, I will be full health, learned some of her attacks, might beat it now or in a few tries. What the actual...? I am low health...before a boss fight...with no means to heal. There is no manual save so I can't go a bit further back before I got hit. Oh I can buy red orbs with real money to revive and make my character more powerful.

Yeah, don't bother. People here will just give the predictable "Oh git gud" response.

When in reality, this game has a very sneaky way of trying to solicit money out of players.


I ran into the same problem. Your only choice is to either "Git gud" or replay an old mission and earn more Red orbs. The gold orbs get more expensive the more you buy them, but they cap out at 5,000 red.

Grind out an old mission, then buy 3 gold orbs and try the boss you're stuck at. Really disappointing considering DMC3 never saved your use of gold/red orbs if you restarted the entire level. This game is all connected though, so any earned orbs carry over to any mode/level replay.

get good / play on easy / enable auto combos

if one is not enough, try all at the same time.

I played them all. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVED them. I even got into some souls-like clones. They were decent. This is NOTHING like Dark Souls.

i logged in yesterday and got given 5 gold orbs from playing co-op and then the game gave me one for logging in. the game throws gold and red orbs at you for free.

Also $20 for 1m is a horrible newbie trap imho. You get 1m going through the basic story brainless with no style multis or using faust properly on human difficulty.

Add all those and you're making 5m every 30 minutes or so. Practice, repeat, practice, repeat.

OP you could just use cheat engine and give you some orbs, I mean its not the end of the world if you cheat giving yourself orbs you still have to get better at the game if you want to beat it, But word of advice higher difficulty equals more orbs.

Also for every stylish rating you get in "multiplayer" you get 1 gold orb, I have a total of 30 gold orbs just from stylish rating

You cant get vac banned on a single player game bro. Not only that DMC5 has no anticheat in place
