Graphics aren't everything.
Why don't you just get over it and play it...
I bet there is gonna be mods in the future.
DmC's levels and bosses design was superior to DMC5
I've got to Mission 14 and this game shines only when it comes to combat and gameplay diversity( 3 characters).
The level design is really bad. Roots, more roots, grey, all shades of grey, little to no details, practically zero interactivity.
DmC had its flaws but its level design was so much better. And the way some DMC's levels got transformed while you were playing them was fantastic.
Bob Barbas and Lilith's club levels were amazing!
As for bosses.. Sadly DmC had just a few bosses, but most of them were better design-wise than in DMC5.
Bob Barbas was really unique
I will always remember Lilith's and Bob's levels, and I've already forgotten what earlier DmC5 levels looked like.
I'm kinda disappointed tbh... I'm still enjoying this game, but ....
I agree, I'm only on Mission 3 but the levels feel so bland. It's like a normal scene with demons inserted into it, but there's no warping or emphasis on the fact that there's a demon world / dimension merging. In addition, the combat doesn't feel as "flashy", I want to see some crazy exaggerated effects like back in the day! They feel a bit lackluster.
