Hey, so yeah, i got news to share on this front.
Fresh from the oven: the game is can be played on Windows, Linux and Mac. :)
That's great news.

So it will be supported on Linux at release with a native build?

Yes, it runs natively on Linux using Vulkan rendering.
Lets see if i can link images hosted on discord.

Will the Linux version be available at the early access launch on 11 May?
MarkoP  [developer] May 2, 2021 @ 4:53am
We're unsure of that. In theory it could, but we haven't done any QA passes on it because the QA studio is under lockdown and all their linux/mac machines are in their office that they have no access to at the moment. Our CEO wants them to do some QA for those platforms before we release those versions. I'm not sure if it's better to release the game to an untested platform on day 1, or wait until the QA team does a linux/mac pass on the game first.

I see, that's a fair enough reason. You could do what other developers have, beginning with an unadvertised (on the Store) beta that downloads for Linux/macOS users and get them to provide feedback perhaps.

My personal hope is that the QA team will be able to get to do a pass over linux and mac withing the first month, since the biggest thing is going to be performance and engine bugs. The gameplay should hopefully be fine since it's tested on windows aplenty. But since it's a decision to be made by other people, i don't really have a satisfying answer for you, sorry.

No problem! Just keep us updated on it in this topic :D

Also looking forward to seeing the Linux version. Would appreciate a notice in this thread once it's been released.
