Live mysis shrimp

It says one of my fish need to eat these to survive but I can't work out where to get the shrimp from could someone help, thanks.

It's a food container, but looks like a dark green bucket. You'll need to build that then also make sure you have a zoo plankton container to grow the shrimp. Over time, the shrimp container will grow to double in size, if it is fed every day.

So i have a fish that needs to eat the shrimp but haven't unlocked the shrimp yet what can i do about that?

The live mysis shrimp dispenser should be unlocked automatically when you gain access to the animal that eats it. Did you double check the menu?

Specifically, the menu where all the food containers are. It is not a separate animal.

It offers me a copperband butterfly for sale but they require the shrimp.
