Manatees are insanely hard to care for
I'm trying to keep 2 manatees healthy for the Diamond river level, but they eat WAY too much, also the autofeeders are useless on manatees as they require skill. my staff have max stats and they cannot keep up with the manatees' hunger. I suggest either A. removing the skill requirement for manatees so that the autofeeders can feed them, or B. making the manatees require less food. Its a bit insane really. I am using feeding sticks, am rank 12 and have almost everything unlocked.

Zoning a staff member, with an existing high feeding skill level is a must.
For those who also struggle, I would suggest dedicating the same zoned feeder to that species food group. As they would already have a high feeding skill, the backpack would be more useful in terms of food capacity, enabling them to carry more and make fewer trips. And never more than two manatees.

EDIT: I am able to keep their health in the green, but I'm worried my pregnant manatee might lose the baby due to the aforementioned feeding issue.

Yeah, I had a single staff member with max feeding and a backpack on only their tank. He could feed them in around half a day or so. Dunno how well it'd go with other fish in the tank though...it seems like you'd need one staff member on only their food type and not overload the tank with that food type. Whale sharks but extreme.

I have a staffmember with level 8 feeding with a backpack on my manatees, and its going fine. It is a full time job though
