Bugs and request
Love the game, you clearly spent so much time on polish it shows.

One bug I have gotten is when editing the tanks connected to a dual tank pump, the system can't recognize if you only change add or alter 1 tank, it keeps you in that interface and disallows you to back out to the menu or cancel this process. I tried disconnecting the tanks from the interface to restart, and that only made it worse.

In trying to get out of this interface lock, I somehow got the middle mouse button locked so any time I would move the mouse the layout would just pan around crazily. For this, not sure what caused it, but if you could add some kind of clear functionality if you select the menu button or something along those lines would be helpful.

One thing in the career mode, the third aquarium has interaction for trading a fish for coral and recieving the coral as a gift award. I have to say this is a fantastic feature but to proceed with it is very confusing. If you could, I think the functionality is worth keeping, but the method needs to be redone. They are billions has a nice process where a special limited use build item appears in the menu that is instictual. As for giving away fish, maybe instead just have a clause where any fish sold of this type fufill the quest goals.

The fact the player has to give away the actual fish is really a fantastic touch, please keep that. Made me feel a little sad to let one of my exibits go.

Hi Icthulu, thank you for the kind words, that is really so nice to hear!

I have to admit, I didn't quite understand the bug you described. I understand that it's to do with the power pump and that you were trying to change which tanks it was connected to. But I can't work out what you did that made the bug occur.

Could you give me a step-by-step. Like:

1. Select pump from menu
2. Place down anywhere
3. Connect to.. yada yada or whatever you did next

Thanks!

My apologies for not offering more details.

In the 4th map I think? The career cold water tank mission. You start with 2 tanks connected already to a large pump. I moved one of the connected tanks which thereby disconnected it from the pump. The other tank remained connected. When I tried to reconnect the pump to the moved tank this caused the pump assignment process to get locked.

It appears that the system is expecting me to assign 2 tanks to the pump as if it was just placed on the map, even though there was already an existing tank.

I hope you make a lot of sales on this game, I have enjoyed every minute.

If you select any pump a little window opens, if it can connect to more than one tank and there are empty slots you can click on the "add tank" button and then you can click another tank to connect. Does this work for you?

It does now, for some reason it didn't on that occasion so had to reboot the game. I've had another instance where clicking wrong can get a third pipe to appear, but was able to click out of that when it happened by using that box. Maybe I accidentally closed that box on the first occasion and that locked me up.

If I can repeat the error, I'll post again, but seems to be a difficult to reproduce bug.
