Delete something within a tank?

I know how to move things between tanks (No tutorial instructions on this, which would be nice to have in Stage 1), but how do I go about deleting objects within the tank? I know, in theory, I can make a dedicated tank to house my "mistakes" or "decision changes" and move things there, but that just seems like a dirty way to go about it. Is there a way to simply delete an object or fish?

Click on the tank to get its detail windows.
There you press x on the keyboard for selling and click on the objects you want to delete which are listed in the detail window.

Or you can click on the demolish icon in the top left corner and then click on the individual tank objects in the details window.

Great game. I never comment on anything, but the control scheme of this game has pissed me off so much I figured it's worth a comment. I meant had I been the developer. It's awful. 5/5 for the game tho.
