R button not working on the Switch console
I bought the game for about 30$ canadian on the Switch e-shop (pricey, but I thought it would be well worth the price). I started the tutorial level and all seemed good until I realized that the last objective "go to home" doesn't work at all. I press the R button and nothing happens. I'm assuming that what is supposed to happen is the game would bring me back to the aquarium area but it doesn't. The r button input works for some of the other in game functions (like choosing the game difficulty at the very start of the level), but other than that I literally can't progress. Normally I wouldn't be mad but I spent 30$ and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. No, my controllers were fine, inputs work normally on other games. I also tried reinstalling the game several times but no luck. Based on the promotional videos and such I really expected this game to be great as other people have said but it's kind of hard to see that when I literally can't pass the tutorial mode. I went as far as downloading it on my friend's switch and still the same problem. I'm hoping a developer sees this post because I'm really frustrated and what's worse is that I can't get a refund of course so all I can do is look at a game that I can't play. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I feel like no one bothered to test out the game before they decided "yup, let's put it on the switch now". I don't make games or anything, but I'm almost positive that there is some kind of testing before games are released? Basically I'm very unhappy, and I'm sure more people would be too if and when they buy this game experiencing what I'm experiencing. Mega-thumbs down from me.

Hello! I'm really sorry you've had an unpleasant experience so far. Don't worry, the dev checks the Steam forum almost daily and for the PC version he's always been quick to act about big bugs.

Hi ezekielalay, I'm very sorry to hear you've run into such an annoying issue so early in your time with the game.

For all technical problems you're better off contacting the console team in future who won't be looking on the Steam forums. The email you want is jemima@aurochdigital.com.

Luckily I might be able to help in this case from memory. I believe the required controller input to "go home" on Switch is R3 which means depress the right analog stick. Like: push on the top of the stick until it pop in a bit and makes a click sound.

Give it a shot and let me know how it goes. :)
