Oh Lord the mouse sensitivity!
I turned it down to one in options menu, HELP! I CAN BARELY USE THE MENU WITH THIS RIDICULOUS SENSITIVITY!

the sensitivity in the menu is higher than the one ingame. if you want to turn down the sensitivity ingame you can go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData\Save\Profile_"your name"
open the user.ini file with a texteditor like notepad and go to line 373
there you can changed MouseSensitivity=1 to whatever number you want.
mine is set to 0.12
the sensitivity in the menu you can not change as far as i know.

Yeah, it is better in-game, but why make it so high in the menu in the first place anyways?

This is just a guess so tell me if I am wrong, I think that the mouses that we used back when this game was released were slower than the ones we have now. Again this is just a guess.

ye thats probably the reason. drivers, dpi and all that changed since 2005
it also depends on what resolution you use. when you force 1920x1080 the sensitivity acts a bit weird sometimes.

this is old, but i found that enabling vsync slowed it down in the menus.
I did this and now it says the application can't find steam

So the solution is to go into the System.ini file in %GameDir%\GameData\Save and change MouseYMultiplier and the MouseXMultiplier under the [WinDrv.WindowsClient] section, about 0.01-0.03 shoud do. Then you'll have to increase the base mouse sensitivity and done.

You can use the cursor buttons , return and esc in the menu no mouse needed.
Ther is a bit of a delay when it switches to keyboard buttons good workaround imho.
