there's a book of the same name but for the most part it follows a different squad of commandos. (And it's book 5 in the series)

The story is all there actually. If you read the Republic Commando novels by Karen Traviss she goes into detail of another squad of republic commandos and this squad that you play as in the game. It also shows what happens to Sev ect. I HIGHLY recommend those books. They are amazing. Go out and buy them NOW :D

Ok. I'm a huge fan of books, but not of Star Wars books (waste of time), except for what happens to Sev. Could you relieve my anguish and tell me what happens to him?

They never say what happens to Sev, which probably means he's dead.

This question has bothered me ever since i finished the game. I hate the fact that they never explained what happened to my favorite squad member.
The most touching moment of the game (for me at least), was the last takeoff scene, where Scorch grieves over the undefined disappearance of his brother.

I don't actualy know why, and it is kinda silly when you think about it, but every time i listen to the quarrels between Sev and Scorch, it puts an image into my mind of Raphael and Michaelangelo from TMNT. Maybe it's just the color of their armor and voices, idk, has anyone had a similar experiance?
