Good Game?

I have recently rediscovered my love for Star Wars and am temptet to by this game. Just 2 questions what is single player like (how does it work) and what is multiplayer like (How does it work and does anyone still play it). Final question I prefere the clone wars era films should I get this compared to battle front 2 thanks in advance>

This game is awesome!! I think it is the best star wars game of all time. Their has never been another star war game like it. If you like clone troopers it is a must own. The single player is awesome. you have three squad members that you can't control. and so on.... great story. I think this is way better the battlefront 2 or 1(I own all three of these games) The multiplayer is fun I still play it and so do a lot of other people. If you get it add me as a friend. We can play it sometime. :)

Thanks one other question how does the multiplayer work? Is it like Jedi Knight Acadamy (Only non lego star wars game I own)

no, their are no jedi only clone troopers or trandos. it is kinda like Halo but not as violent or blood its rated T. I started playing it when I was 12 have loved it since then. I have a lot of the lego star wars games too. I remember gettting the very first one when I was like 10 lol me and my sister would play them for hours.

It might not be exactly what your preferences are (judging from your post),
but it's something, every star wars fan should've played - or anyone interested in "games that never got old".

Besides all that, its affordable (8,99 €) and worth every penny - so, I would reccomend you to buy it.

I've been playing the game for a few hours. I find the FPS action a little dull, and the ai kind of stupid. That being said I don't regret buying the game. The presentation of the game is great - you get an immersive star wars experience. Everything from your HUD to the settings makes you feel part of the star wars universe, and the banter of your squad mates make you feel like you're part of a team. People still play multiplayer - but I think there's better multi out there (like Jedi Knight series).

If you're just looking for an immersive star wars experience, then get the game. But if you're looking for a great new FPS to play, then I'd pass.

there isnt much trouble with the servers on this game the only trouble i have somtimes is the ping,but thats probs my internet conection

It´s a great game! It can be very difficult in some parts, but it´s great fun and you feel better overcoming the odds (which are heavily stacked against you). And just for the record, super battle droid dispensers are just.....just evil, hate those bastards.

The other members of your squad (Delta Squad) are among the best done ai in the game. Its more likely to kill yourself than it is for them to kill you, unlike halo with the marines running me over 24/7. Though recently i fire off anti armor round as they walk in front of me, only happened about two times. The storyline is indeed well done. Multiplayer however is just deathmatch it seems. All you do is kill player, die, respawn etc. I dont really play multiplayer. The droid dispensers as etmoides stated, are really anoying. Super Battle Droids, as you find out the first time you fight them, are rather heavily armored. You can pour an entire magazine of your rifle into them, without destroying them. The dispensers spawn an infinate number untill they are destroyed. I find it to be among my favorite games. The campain is short though, but very fun.

A truly good game? No. Not even close.
I can't even finish it because it's so repetitive, linear and boring. Add annoying voice acting on top of that.
If you want a good star wars game, you can't go wrong with Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy.
