Timed Mission

Anyone else stuck on the timed mission? I have 45 seconds to complete the thing and it says I need a full minute to hack the panel.

The only option at this point is restating the game from the beginning which is kind of unfair to the player...

take my advice. when the mission begins, use mainly your grenade launcher, and electric gernades to wipe out enemies as fast as possible till you get to the bridge. for example, if you see 2 supers in ur way, dont waste time just shooting at them with the standard blaster, use ur gernade launcher, its a one hit kill.

P.S. when you do get to the bridge remember to all ways take out the 3 senturary turrents first.

As Manneya said before, the grenade launcher is really needed for that bit, though I suggest the concussion grenades over EMPs.

intersting idea, concussion gernades are the flshbangs right? i thought those dont work on droids, do they? i might be wrong

The Geonosian sonic ones were what I meant. Used to calling them concussion grenades thankes to Battlefront 1.

But I don't have a save point for before the timed run, since I didn't know it was going to be timed. So now I have to start the game all over again to get past this block?

You can select a mission from the main menu. It means restarting the mission but not the whole game. Republic Commando was made in that period between checkpoints every quarter mile and none at all. I'd suggest learning to save whenever you finish something major, like the fight with the dwarf spider and the like. It helps a lot.

Yeah, Republic Commando's line of gaming [Old PC Gaming] came before Checkpoints really came in stride. While different levels could be called checkpoints, I wouldn't call them that. It takes a while to get used to this form of saving, but it isn't that crazy.

Just hit the ~ key to drop down the console and type darman in it. it skips the level
