Game Won't Install Because McAfee Keeps Detecting Trojan Viruses...

Every time I try to install this, it keeps getting stopped because my McAfee keeps detecting a trojan virus with it. And before that it wouldn't start because the exe. was apparently missing.

Is anyone else having installation problems and have any fixes for it?

Get rid of McAfee for Christ's sake and get a real antivirus. That will fix it.

I wish I had a solution for it at this point, but after wrestling with it for hours and hours after all the suggestions I found, I just went and bought it on Gog instead.
That works with no hassle at all.

I had this same problem. I talked to McAfee support and they fixed it, but they had to take control of my computer for it

I just uninstalled then reinstalled and it was fine

McAfee the antivirus (in my opinion) sucks, however McAfee the guy, has one hella life story like serious look up a documentary of him

Windows 10 comes with a superior and vastly less gaming-experience destroying anti virus by default.

McAfee these days is nothing more then spyware to sell your data for profit. Uninstall it and you will be better protected by windows 10 built in anti-virus (Windows defender)

I'm on windows 8.

Besides I gave up wrestling with this and bought it on GoG instead. Had no problems with that.
