The clone wars are roughtly 12-32 BBy when was this? When did the Clone Commandos exist?

It depends on the part of the game you're talking about. At the beginning, it takes place during Ep 2 when they land on Geonosis. It does end before Ep 3 as you don't get to go through the Order 66 ordeal.

The battle of Geonosis is, IIRC, 22 BBY. Clone Commandos would become Imperial Commandos and still exist after 19 BBY.

yeah, this is set later in the clone wars, just before Order 66

In the books that the game is based on its less than a week before Order 66 i believe, although I'd have to check that

The series is called Republic Commando by Karen Traviss (I really recommend it btw, one of the best book series I've read) and the Kashyyk mission where Sev goes missing in the book called Order 66 :)
