Scoring Abbot
Maybe I'm missing something here but I can't seem to score my Abbot the same turn I place him. I see the AI doing it but I can't figure out how to do it myself. Any suggestions?

You can score the Abbot the same turn you place it only if it's already surrounded by 8 tiles. You can score it when unfinished by taking it in on your next turn.

You can score the Abbot any turn you want. You do not have to wait for the 9 tiles. However, after you play the tile, you can only score the abbot if you do not play another meeple in that turn. Then to collect the score you click on the Abbot. If you play a meeple on a monastery then you have to leave it until all tiles surround it (i.e. 9 points).

You score with the Abbot when you take him *from* the building, not place him on to it.

He'll either automatically be taken from, when 8 tiles surround him, or when you lift him at the end of a turn. If you lift him, you can't also place a different meeple
