Hacker ?

I think there is a hacker bugging us ... I keep changing my password (both on Steam and Asmodee) and when I play, I get a message that I'm playing Carcassonne from another computer ... which is not true. I see that others had the same problem and nobody answered yet. What should we do to get rid of this ?

P.S. I just sent a message to Asmodee Digital ... waiting for an answer. And an answer from Steam team would be nice too. It's a real annoying problem.

I was logged out for the first time ever. Without the option to log into my account because my password wasnt accepted. Resetting the password prompts me the message, that my account doesnt even exist. I have over 100 won games and almost 200h playtime. This is extremely frustrating.

What's going on at Asmodee Digital?

Same here ! ... "Your account does not exist" and even "Your email address does not exist" !!!!
Very, very frustatiing !
No answer from Asmodee yet ... And nothing form Steam Team ...
Maybe everybody "left the building" ... Hope not ... I love this game.

Yeah I am having a similar problem. keyword similar.

It keeps saying my username and password is wrong when I try to enter the game (it's meant to auto log me in)

It changed my usual username to a different username completely, when I have tried to change it back, it succeeds then goes back to that very same different username.

I keep changing my password, and even when it's the correct password, it will ALWAYS say its wrong.

The frustration is real. xD

I had to change my username on Steam AND on Asmodee to be able to play quietly ... but I lost all my previous achievements. Real bummer !

you can type what u want in here but the DEVs dont care. All they care about is money which is why u keep getting annoying emails telling you to buy the new current game. a DEV with a backbone would fix their mess .... they have just left this to rot.

I don't know anything about these devs or this game, but it almost sounds like a server or database issue. It seems like a small indie developer with a very specific fan base. I mean it's possible that the online Carcassonne community is plagued by hackers, but my first question would be "Why?" What would be the gain?

Do they have official support forums, and has anyone brought this up there?

Maybe the gain is to play without having to pay for that game ... especially if there is a lot of DLC involved. Just maybe ...
