For example, I stopped playing this because shop counters can no longer be staffed, I hire the required number, and yes I set the right schedule, but staff never do the job at that counter. I posted about this bug a long time ago, and I've seen others reporting the same issue. I look forward to the update, but I wish they'd stop and at least fix some of the long running bugs that make the game unplayable. I have clearly hit some kind of limitation with how many counters I can place/staff because every additional counter I add has the same problem, the store type doesn't matter, so there is no point continuing to play until this gets fixed.
How many more months or years will it be before this update finally comes out, and will it fix the bugs or just add more. Sorry, but even the most patient of gamers will be looking at SimAirport lack of updates and assume it's abandoned.
Nope, Steam is a distributor, a digital store. While true Steam does make it easy for developers to communicate with their customers, there is no precedence for anyone who sells stuff to hang around the store just to be able to listen to ever little whine a customer can come up with. I can't remember the last time I saw farmer Brown hanging out at the grocery store waiting for me to come in and ask questions about when his next batch of broccoli is coming in. While it's true there are a number of indie type developers who do take advantage of Steam's ability to communicate with customers; your view that this should happen is just twice the work for the developer and they just might not have the time (or desire) to do so. Be thankful to those that do use the feature, they've gone above and beyond.
