Crashing on startup

I'm having an issue where I click the start to run the game and it crashes back to the desktop without loading. Have more than the recommended specs an still happening. Any ideas?

Please verify the game in steam (steam bibliothek / Sim Airport(right cklick) / settings / installed data ,and there verify the data . That normal helps , think the steam download was broken. If that not helps i would need more information: On what computer you play Mac / Win10/11 ? and do you already have mods installed ?

Well....I've been playing SimAirport for months and now when I try to play it.....it just stays on LOADING screen and I wait for minutes and hours and nothing happens....till I have to End Task. Don't know whats going on with the game now......

To say what there is the problem , i would need to see the log , come to SA Discord , there you can easy share your log / playerslog with us , then we can help you better

But cou can try to verify the game in steam first

I've already done that...and even uninstalled and installed it back again

Hi,
some things to check or try

- Make sure steam cloud is turned off for the game. If the saves gets to big steam cloud could have issues downloading the save and loading the game.
Library, right click on game name, click properties, then the cloud settings should be under the general tab. Make sure they are off.

- If you added any new mods make sure you have all the required mods loaded. Mostly that has to deal with scripted mods.

- Try to load the auto-save file if you had it turned on.

I don't know why it's taking so long to get back to me.....

I'm not sure if its a Steam issue....but, I've not tried to load a particular save file....the game doesn't even load.....it stays on LOADING and the game never loads to the start screen.....

As far as I can tell you're missing at least one mod dependency on the Pickup Bus Waiting Time mod by qcs (https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2993622559), please make sure you are subscribed to both dependencies.
