Assigning Chef to Kitchen?

I've hired two chefs but only one seems required and only one shows up to work. How can I manually assign a second chef to a kitchen?

Open the staff scheduling overview, select a schedule (if you haven't yet made a new one Daytime is fine), go to the kitchen and click the zone - this will increase the scheduled amount of chefs in that kitchen in the selected schedule.

You can schedule up to 999 chefs per kitchen - technically, doesn't make much sense praktically.

was wondering that for a while when doing the tutorial. i did redo the scheduling thing thinking i missed something but it still unclear to me if that was covered in the tutorial or not.
