Janitor bug

Hi. I've been playing for a while the game broke. So I left it running on it's own for a good 8 hours or so while I'm at work and then my janitors stopped functioning, or maybe it's the garbage trucks that aren't working?

Anyway, airport's a mess now, trash everywhere. My janitors are always "busy" but they seem stuck in the cleaning animation without doing any actual cleaning at all. My garbage zone is functional and I have dumpsters but there is a 2-lane road in front so maybe that's what broke it?

Goodness that is quite a bit of trash! Could I get your save file please? My email is [e-mail] and you can access your saves by opening your save folder via the save menu in game.

Same thing happened to me today. I had just expanded my airport and noticed that it was filling up with trash. Janitors were all stuck in the garbage zone.

Maybe your janitors saw the huge mess and decided to go on strike.

Well, you can see the paths the pax are taking...they considerately paved them in trash. Kinda reminds me of the airport in The FIfth Element, so you've managed to create a future airport. Nice work! :D

In all seriousness, though, I have two questions:
1. I didn't see a single garbage can in those screenshots. Are there any? If pax don't have a place to dump their trash, they just dump it anywhere. Granted, your janitors should be sweeping it up, but the lack of cans may be a contributing factor.
2. Is there a staff door path to the various parts of your airport? The janitors should be using any doors available, but I can't help but think there's a glitch in the pathfinding algo where it might be looking for staff access to secured zones.

We'd definitely like to get saves from you guys on this one. That amount of trash is almost surely a bug, even with garbage bins (though having none will definitely lead to a dirty airport a lot faster), and if your janitors are stuck in the garbage zone then that'd definitely be a bug.

If we can get a save from anyone experiencing this issue then we'll be able to dig further into it, and hopefully get to the bottom of the problem pretty quickly & get a fix out from there.

Devs, if you could let us know what caused that, it'd be great to read. From a programming standpoint, I'm more than a little interested to know what happened. If you don't mind sharing, of course. :)

I don't know if its with the janitors or something else, but just so you know, I made the roads in ront of the airport double, and I haven't seen any garbage trucks come to pick anything up. The garbage zone is practically empty too.

Yep there are garbage bins but not too many of them. Hmmm however what I noticed is that my janitors do thr "cleaning" animation but the garbage actually never gets cleared. They do this over and over but nothing gets clean.

Game is slowing down from the ridiculous amounts of garbage hahaha! :D :D :D
