Kitchen has no available inventory
Trying to make a cafe and when i finish the cafe and kitchen i set the cash registers to the kitchen and stuff then they just say the kitchen has no available inventory and nothing ive done has helped. Cant find any helpful threads on the issue so decided id just post one.
I have rebuilt the cafe and kitchen twice and that didint do anything

I know i have no workers but i fired them becasue they wouldint work and were just taking money

huhu

they refill the inventory once a day - i think in the night... so when u build it in the morning - next day - they have inventory...

well i left it running for 6 days ingame and it didint fix itself but this morning when i started the game back up it started working again. So issue solved?

Have you tried using kitchen storage units? Oh and you can adjust how often you refill your kitchen. I do it every 12 hours for instance, but I can't remember now if you have research something first to do that like you do with maintanence.

I also have problems with the kitchen.
All requirements have been met.
Food is delivered only it is not brought to the kitchen.
Staff is sufficient.
Does anyone know what's going wrong?

Where are you seeing food, then? Is it just piling up in the delivery zone?

Yes, that's right, the package is in the delivery zone.

Could it be a pathing issue? Could I see a picture or video of the airport?

The problem is solved.
Staff had to be hired and I had not seen that.

Since the new update, my kitchen, cash register and therefore the cafe no longer works.
The staff comes up with the stairs and immediately goes down again and keep walking in circles.
What has been done:

Staff enough? Yes
is there a cook? Yes
Are your cash registers assigned to the kitchen? No, not possible
cafe assigned to the kitchen? Yes
Does your kitchen have stock? Yes
Game restart performed? Yes

Who can help me?

Do the tutorial about food and sales. That should explain how kitchen and caffees work now.

But in short you assign a kitchen to a caffee, in the caffee you will have displays where you can setup what you want to sell in the caffee. Also make sure your kitchen can supply the goods like you will need a refridgerator and a pizzaoven next to the bare minimum of a kitchen before you can sell pizza in your linked caffees.

it doesn't work for a meter, give that old system back a bunch of crazy things or make sure you get a good explanation.

We definitely need to get some more 'warnings' going for it, to help guide in the right direction -- that's fairly clear from what I'm hearing at least.

@j.six -- If you don't mind shooting your save over, we can definitely take a look and let you know what's missing or if it's a bug. Send save over via email, to: bugs@simairport.com

For now I stopped, tomorrow I will be back online and then I give the green light ( by mail contact only ) because all help is welcome.
My airport is full of hungry passengers and staff who are counting the stars. Costs mountains of money and doesn't get stuck.

Am really sorry it's become a frustration point for you, enough so that it's caused you to review the game negatively -- we really want you to have a positive experience, and am sincerely bummed that it's left you with the opposite of that. =(

We'll do our best to get you a diagnosis, and fix if needed, ASAP.
