Why cannot baggage load is full ?
When the airport bigger and bigger , the plane can unload the baggage
But Baggage load some time cannot be full
and the plane is go away

Is there any method can solve this problem ?

Hi

a) Your check in might be to slow. Passengers are checking in while the plane is already there and baggage is loading. You need more check in desks.
b) You are not using baggage conveyors and it takes too long until a golf cart picks up all baggage and brings it to the plane

Or if you have a baggage conveyor, they may be getting jammed up so adding "enhancements" or streamlining your baggage sorters may get the baggage there faster. Each hub can only handle so many pieces per hour. My original setup was good, but it broke down with the more flights I was accepting and it gets real bad when you start accepting jumbos. When that happens, I pretty much drop it to one sorter per line for 3 pads for jumbos, 5 for large and 7 for small. Also, I noticed (I play vanilla and not experiments) that the more baggage carts you have per pad, the faster they load as well. I've had 4 carts per pad (2 load, 2 unload) and my baggage can go fast. Now, if they can only fix the lookie loo's that are all the way on the other side of the airport pulling their puds right up until the time the plane departs and then they start out for the gate after ignoring the intercom system.

This is the case with my airports as well. If all passengers are getting to the flights, which mine our, then baggage should get to the plane as well. I have 6 ticket desks, with a hub for each one and another hub that switches my luggage to the gate luggage carts. I've watched the whole day, watching pax come in 2 hours before, go check their bags and watch the baggage, it all seems to go to the carts, but when the baggage is picked up and transported to the plane, it always ends up 1 or 2 baggage short. Later on, when you get bigger, baggage will be 10-15 short. This isn't a planning issue, this is a game issue. The conveyors need to be adjusted so they move faster. There really isn't a reason why planes would have 10-15 pieces of luggage not get to the plane in time.

Thanks for the explanation guys.

I think this got fixed a while back but broke when we changed some task related stuff, anyhow I'm gonna put it back as a bug and we'll get it fixed next cycle.

As far as I can tell it is only a display problem which shouldn't impact any of your games.

Was this bug ever fixed? When my planes are loaded with baggage, the "Baggage Load" figure remains zero.

This bus still exists. My airport is so efficient that planes are leaving an hour early, without all of the baggage. In some cases without the majority of it. Buggy rubbish.

i know this is an old topic but it's the more accurate to what im experiencing atm in the game i bought few days ago...the problem seem to be that baggage are loaded too early in the planes ( they load even before the last few late agents arrive in airport ), resulting in 90% of the time with the plane leaving without all baggage. it as nothing to do with any desk (ticket or security) not going fast enought.... its realy due to those late agents in the last 120 min before depart... heck my baggages are often loaded 100 min before depart so it make no sense. its not game breaking thankfully and dont affect our daily bonus... but very annoying when trying to make everything run as smootly as possible.

Hi, This topic has been discussed a lot and also tested different ways by the devs. Loading the bags later or even two loads causes issues with the planes departure and will hurt the perfect ops bonus. If the bags do not make the plane there is no penalty at all. It is just a aesthetic feature of the game. Plus building the baggage system does add some additional challenge to the game. If you build the baggage system with a smaller run from ticketing to the depot, you will get more bags on the plane. A long run will get you less bags.
I mean they could just do what real airports do and close off baggage check in an hour prior to departure.

I have the same issue. If they can unload the planes in one pass why can't they load them in one pass? I have enough conveyors to get the bags there but the carts don't take all of them and then before they do a 2nd trip, the planes leave. I haven't seen any penalties due to it but IRL this would create a massive issue b/c then the bags would have to go on another flight, thus not leaving room for the current bags....and so on until the end of the day.

The hardest part of the game is balancing ticketing with security. If I build tons of room for security it improves the throughput and then ticketing gets clogged. If I fix ticketing then then throughput increases and security gets clogged. It is a fine balancing act between them. If either gets clogged planes will be behind schedule and then subsequent flights cannot secure the gate b/c it is occupied by the one before it. I can remedy ticketing a little bit by using the auto ticketing machines but that area can also become quite congested to the point that the wait times there are ridiculous.

The only way I fixed security is by removing the body scanners AND removing the queue lines for the ID desks. Once I did this it looked a lot less organized but throughput was increased by a substantial amount.

I wish the game had more info about wait times. I use the time graphs quite a bit but it does not tell me enough about a 'period' of time and how long it takes to go from arrival to boarding a plane. This would be valuable info.

Baggage claim also gets quite congested although this is pretty simple to fix.

Another issue is the pilot and staff lounges. I never see them get used. But if you don't have them for certain airlines they get upset. It seems odd they are never occupied. They are a complete waste of space.
