Biggest Airport Made
Just curious as the game is now fully released and mods have been added to allow for continuous expansion whats the biggest airport people have created.
Mine is my current airport with a bunch of mods...

Terminals: 2 (each with 3 concourses)
Gates: 102
Flights: 476
Runways: 4

Would be interesting to here other peoples answer

Sandbox mode, No mods added.

Current Airport (small) still under construction has:
Terminals: 2
Gates: 9 ( another Xl under cpnstruction)
Flights : Over 90 ish currently
Runways: 4
Pax/day: >17k ish
No active contracts.

How many of your 102 gates are XL? I've got 17 gates (15 XL, 1 L, 1 S). 117 flights. Not using any mods. All land purchased. $450M cash. Adding second terminal and more gates soon.

I've got 3 terminals connected via an underground path similar to ATL. The airport has 54 gates, all land purchased, $1.7-2.1 mil per day, hovering around 51,000 arrivals & departures per day. My computer can barely run it. :(

7 terminals, 79 gates (about 8 have no flights currently assigned), 496 flights, 12 runways, 160M cash, 3M/day profit, passenger satisfaction 92%, airline satisfaction 91%. Everything is maxed out.
Bought all the land available on the map - still not enough - so made the map bigger. Now I have so many flights and pax that I cannot get enough transit to get pax out of airport fast enough.
Would keep building, but a) the game doesn't have capacity and b) my PC will just run like a dog....
Would be great if we could get bigger maps, more transit, new content to make it a bit more interesting. Once you know how to make money, then the challenge can go out of the gameplay a bit (hence my personal challenge to see how big I could go before I broke the game and/or my PC).
Maybe we could get some cool (challenging) scenarios, or some random events (economic disasters, airline failures etc) that could spice things up a bit.
I really like playing this game, but it needs some new stuff to keep it interesting. Haven't really had new content in forever!

So for now I have ca. 41.000 PAX arrival, 37.000 PAX departure, 180 flights, never a pefect OPS bus roughly 13 PAX missing their fligth a day with 36 gates (4 XL stand by, 20 XL, 4 L, 8 S). At the moment I scheduled all offered flights. 5-8.000.000 Profit/d

All terminals accessible from each other both landside and airside...

Satellite 1 {4 gates A1-4}
Terminal 1 {22 gates B,C, 1-11} (B11 & C11 standby gates)
Terminal 2 {22 gates D,E, 1-11} (D11 & E11 standby gates)
32 carousels
400+ bag & walk-on check-ins
..... and I have Ergghh; another satellite planned

Started 'sacking' check-in, gate-agent, and some security staff
... Replacing most with unstaffed bag-drop, automated ID check, unmanned metal detector (1 security staff per x-ray+metal detector) and automated boarding desks ...

Then, I'll start culling some of the retail staff, for self service check-outs ...
Plenty of revenue, but staff costs are crippling the airport a bit (on unlimited funds)
