Planes NOT landing
Hey, so ... I made a pretty big airport on career. Planes are not landing. I have the gates, check in desks etc. The customers come to the airport and wait, then leave angry when their flight hasnt pitched up and goes passed the take off time.

Any ideas? I've deleted all the runways down to 1 , i've tried removing queues .. I don't know how to fix.

again. passengers arrive, crew arrive. everything looks ready. I moved the runway.

plane doesn't land. Passengers leave before departure time though (if that is significant at all?)

Could I get your save file please? My email is ramsis@simairport.com and you can access your save files from your save menu in game. :)

Got your save, looked into it, and now the rest of the team will be taking an eye at it so that we can help you out Fuzzy. I must admit I do love how spacious and open your airport is, also I adore your little arcade. It's sized properly but it really has that cramped style to it that I remember growing up. :)

haha thanks, I'll be honest - I didnt realise how big the place was... so I am working with ways to try manage the space haha.

thanks again!

On the Flight Status UI from your screenshot, scroll all the way to the right and you'll see a "Status" column which provides some rough insight into what the issue is -- typically the reason will be related to either the Runway or the Gate.

Less commonly, and after looking at your save it appears to be the problem in this case, you'll see "Airport Operational". What this means is that your airport is missing something that is absolutely required prior to beginning operations; these are things like Restrooms, Ticketing, etc...

All the things required for operational requirements to be met also have "Alert Notifiers" on the bottom HUD panel -- if you see a "dock icon" that is flashing and jumping on any of the buttons on the bottom, it's likely a major issue and often is one that can prevent your airport from operating, and aircraft from landing. You can diagnose the issue by hovering over the button on the HUD and you should see the problem(s) displayed in the tooltip in red.

After looking over your save, it looks like you're missing two operational requirements -- a Ticketing Zone and a Garbage Zone. Once you get those added, the warnings on the bottom should disappear and things should start moving! :)

Hope that helps, and hopefully you're enjoying so far despite the confusion on this one. Please do let us know if you run into any further snags though, or even if you just have some general feedback. We're constantly working to improve the game, and the overall gameplay experience; we're always open to any & all feedback, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or thoughts!
