Ticketing and Security on seperate level
Is it possible to have security on -1, whilst having ticketing on G? I've built my airport this way, but secuirty is showing requirements not met?..

Does it say that your security zone isn't working, or that you don't have a secure zone? Security area and secure zone are two very different things with very different causes on why they're not working. :)

If the security zone itself is broken, the zone title will be red and there will be two very unmissable, garish excalamation points. A hover-over will bring up a tooltop with what's missing highlighted in red. But I suspect that's not your problem, rather...

...your "secure area" is incomplete. This is a very different beast, and one to accidentally create. What the game is telling you is that there's a hole somewhere in your secured area that's making it insecure - basically, there's a path from the unsecured side to the secure side that *doesn't* go through security. So, look for a gap in your perimeter fence or a in a wall that's giving a path from the great outdoors direct into your airport's field. That'll be the problem! Patch it up and the error should go away. (And if it doesn't, you may have more than one hole.)

(Oh, to answer the original question: yes, you can put security on the -1 level so long as the secure area is complete otherwise. The system just checks to make sure that all entrances to the secure area [basically, the airfield] cannot be accessed without going through a security zone.)

I think I were faced this kind of problem.

Since beginning, I had ticketing and security on floor-G.

Then I expanded my airport and security zone is not sufficient.
I decided to build more securiry zone on floor-2 (it mean I will have 2 security zones, floor-G and floor-2).
But after I built security on floor-2 and install every facility as well as upping escalator from floor-G (escalator is from un-secured area, next to ticketing zone), it has caution show that my security on floor-2 is not work. It said that it not allow un-secured pax to get secured zone (something like this).

Were I getting wrong way?

The floors don't matter. I have an airport with my security zones on -1 and my ticketing on 1. Where ticketing is doesn't really matter as far as security is concerned.

the problem is you have a path into your "secure areas" that doesn't require people go through the security zone.

In order for the airport to function, the airfield (runways, taxiways, planes) needs to be a secure area - that is, the only way to get to it is through a security zone and its machines. The error you're describing means that there's a path somewhere that allows movement from the un-secured area (the road) to the secure area *without* going through security.

Here's what to look for:
• A gap in a wall in your airport or the perimeter fence around the airfield.
• An escalator or stairway that bypasses security (goes directly from non-secure to secure area).
• A non-staff door in a wall that separates the secure and non-secure areas.

As you can tell, trying to pinpoint where the problem lies while being unable to see your airport is a bit of a shot in the dark. If you want to try posting some screenshots, it may help with finding the problem.

I had this problem.
I had 2 escalators going up the the new security zone.
But I found out I needed a escalator going back down.

There could be a million different reasons why. Publish your map and put it on the workshop, then post a link to it on here. Let people take a look at it and then we can give you a better answer.

For some reason, all security zones need a link back to an unsecure area. I don't know why but pax like to go to security, decide the want to be unsecure so want you need the escalator up or you need stairs. (so people can go up and down)

Maybe for the same reason I would want to go back? When I see a long line to get through security I say a quick "Nope, I need a smoke first."

I always make sure that my escalators are paired up with stairs, so people can go back if they need to.

Like if they're leaving security then going upstairs to the gates... I use UP escalators exclusively... but mix in at least a few stairs so people can go back down.

Thanks everyone, turned out the whole level couldn't be zoned as security and part of it needed to remain unzoned.

@MystroHD -- Glad you got it figured out, sorry for the confusion though! Is definitely a bug, and is one I believe we've fixed on the latest Edge builds so can look forward to that in the next default.

Hope you're otherwise enjoying the game so far, plenty more to come still! :)
