Moving walkways accidentally had their "Switch Directions" button removed in last night's build -- we'll be putting it back in the next update -- but that button, and functionality, is only present on Moving Walkways as of right now.
Eventually we may allow escalators to be able to have their direction switched as well (and eventually, I'd love to see scheduling for this too!). I can unequivocally say that we wouldn't be doing escalator direction-switching, nor any kind of traversability-related scheduling, until the current cycle lands on default. We're already going to be pushing ~3 months by the time we get the cycle wrapped up I have a feeling, heh! :-)
Change escalator direction would help a lot with construction and correct placing of objects.
BUT
Without the "small issues" I had a very stable 6hrs session on my big airport yesterday. In my opinion you should use this status to bring it to the standard branch players.
It would also be nice if you start the next cycle with focus on some long time smaller things than directly with new features. :-)
Like the news/electronic/retail shop non income thing, the usage of lounges, performane and anything else mentioned since months with every new cycle.
That's kind of my unofficial list at the moment -- that said, we aren't quite stable enough to just dump it onto Default, but we aren't too awfully far off either. Probably another week or so of picking up the smaller pieces that have been mentioned and that we haven't had a chance to get to yet, etc... Not quite there yet but we're closing in -- we're seeing noticeable stabilization in the codebase churn as well, all signs pointing to being not too far off.
We'll provide a more official "what's coming next cycle" as we get closer to, or coinciding with, the kickoff of the next cycle -- fwiw, we can't wait either; this one was very challenging & definitely quite grueling for us, and we're very much looking forward to doing some refinement & higher level general improvements (vs 100% focused on graph connectivity theory, vector forces, and the like). =)
