Gate agent is secure, but it says it is not

i have made two security areas, and it is STILL not working.

Can you post a screenshot or two for us to check out perhaps?

Most often the cause of this issue is extra 'Security Exits' placed near your Security zone (on the 'back' side/secure side of the security zone). Removing those usually resolves the issue.

We'll get some UI things changed to make this more clear in the future, too -- but for now, if the above applies, try removing the security exits -- or post some screenshots and we'll get you some help! =)

experienced the same.

Its weird how sometimes security zones get recognized properly and sometimes not.
On the secure side it was strange how it assinged it as insecure as soon as I used the security exits, which i placed with the correct facing .The zone was enclosed but people somehow still could get through the wall near those exits .
I had to place a security zone around my security exits to solve the problem.

I'm getting the same issue. My airport went from secure to completely unsecure randomly.

I have tried removing and re-installing the security exits as suggested.

Edit: When I added a security zone around the north bathrooms, it started working again. Apparently sims are pathing through the walls to get to those bathrooms, making them insecure?

Well, you don't show the whole airport, so you could have a hole in the fence for all I know.... plus with the red overlay, it's difficult to see if the security gate's orientation is correct.

normally you dont have to do this because the street is on the left(west) side

OOPS I meant West. If playing in career mode, you need to build the fence before you can open a gate/runway for traffic

Which is why I pointed out them not showing the whole airport.

It's one thing to show the details, but in situations like these, one also needs to see the big pricture. Not that much harder to add a second screenshot to the post.

See my edit. After I saved and reloaded, the airport was secure. The sims were pathing through a wall in those north bathrooms for some reason. After reloading my save, the issue is resolved.

i can confirm that

if the airport is unsecure ... save ... load and everthing is fine. kind of weird :D
