ZOOM?

using a trackball and cannot zoom in or out at all and have not found keys on the keyboard for this function either. I am now about to try an optical mouse to see if the problem resolves this at all. Any help or advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Just tried the mouse and zooms in/out perfectly. My trackball works with all other games and if this is not possible then a manual option on the keyboard i.e. + zoom in and - zoom out. Thank you for a potentially awesome game. waited a long time for a game like this and would'nt normally shell out the full £18.99 being asked, but took the decision that it will support the developers to create a potential classic masterpiece in the digital age. I am eagerly awaiting all the improvement updates and sooo looking forward to DLC in the future. Hope developers deliver on this promise. So far so good!

Ack -- there are no keys for it right now. Dumb mistake on our part. We can add a keyboard key for it in the first patch tomorrow. What keyboard key makes for good zoom buttons, PageUp/PageDown perhaps? Other ideas?

Ah -- gotcha, we're probably not checking the axis that the trackball reports. We'll check into it and see what axis it reports and tie into that axis as well.

Any joy getting adding key strokes for zooming? I only have a trackpad you see. It's making it hard to make a perfect symetrical airport as I'm so far out :D

Hiya I just got your message. After I raised the issue they included keyboard zooming with a patch. This is in case your accessory does'nt work. so to position use the 4 directional keys to centralise your screen. to zoom in use the equals key with the + on top. to zoom out use the - key next to it. going to the left the next key will be 0 on the number keys. I hope this helps

How is this on mac? Cant zoom in any way :P I´ll might suggest . and , for zooming if they´re not busy doing something else

You can now use the "-" and "=" keys to zoom in and out as of a few patches ago (it's the + and - keys, just no need to hold CTRL or CMD).

We develop on Macs and zoom should work just fine on MacOS for any Apple mouse (or the 'magic trackpad'), any 3rd party mouse, or on the Mac laptop built-in trackpads.
