Grace's goblet
can someone please help me understand the significance of the goblet? I played through this myself, but when watching Markiplier later he said "oh now I understand what the goblet is for" and I feel like I am missing a significant point. thanks.

The only difference I noticed was cosmetic in one zone and a small text line much later in the game.

Sorry, I meant as in the significance of reading the journal and reading about how Grace tells the girl to play tea party or her family will be eaten by cows rather than technicalities of gameplay. Thank's though.

My understanding is that either the evil doll or the daughter herself was killing her family members in order to get blood for the "tea party." Which is why the journal talks about family members slowly disappearing each time they play tea party and why the ghost of Mary Stearn is wracked with guilt and doesn't want people to know what she did.

if you take it and play tea party do you just die

and what does destroying it do

If you destroy it, the doll is angry. If you partake, the doll is happy. If I recall there is one small difference in the story.

Since destroying it is a stat check, though, you get XP for it.

The goblet also can be thrown in Jumbleneck Mine's pit.
