Gun Manor peaceful ending denied

I am guessing there may already be a topic on this, but I can't find it.

So, I did the Gun Manor DLC and got up to the bells. I rang out the "BOO" message and was told I killed a ghost. I literally went through every questline to allow the ghost to pass peacefully.

The only thing I can figure is that it somehow counted me accidentally getting in a battle with the one-eyed ghost and choosing to surrender as killing the ghost. Despite me going back and getting her glass eye.

Is there a way to fix this?

That sux. It's easy to miss-hit a dialogue option and invoke combat. I was careful to avoid doing so and managed to get the Peaceful achievement.
