You can switch the two terminals to something else after using them on the thing. I don't know if this is a bug or working as intended, but... yeah...
I'm still trying to figure out what else I can do with the El Vibrato stuff. I'm kind of out of ideas, but it feels like there's more to be done.
I've:
1. Gotten the time-key thingy and gone into a bunch of cool portals/grabbed stuff (and a person) from portals.
2. Made some powerful dynamite, aged some wine for fun & profit (well, just profit, really), grew some seeds... generally messed around with the temporal continuum.
3. Crafted all sorts of gear; hats, pants, boots, rings, amulets, food, alien booze...
4. Activated the Anti-Bob Special Containment Procedure.
5. Got a new musician for the band.
6. Made the perfect cup of coffee.
EDIT: Added #5, which I had forgotten about. The old #5 is now #6, so that the "last one" mentioned in my reply below is still the same last one.
I'm wondering:
1. If there's more I can do with the pipelines? Can I feed fluid to the food/booze machine and craft those with scraps instead of organic fluid? Is there something else to do with the pipelines I haven't thought of yet?
2. If there's a way to decontaminate the construction protocols...
3. If there's another El Vibrato in the desert south of Frisco? That area seems way too empty!
And probably other things I've forgotten.
And Yeah, that desert is way too empty for my liking...
FIRST ONE:
You need to go to Curious Flat mountain, in the north-west (wander around a bit north of Frisco). What you're looking for there is the Chronokey. Fiddle around with the options, I think you need to re-route power.
You also need to go to Curious Flat Plain, in the same area, a bit more north-west again. 30 moxie needed to go down the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder, there's a dead explorer who has the El Vibrato Rod, which de-cloaks all sorts of El Vibrato stuff all over the map when you get near them.
After that, just... explore... ;)
LAST ONE:
The Coffeemaker is in the Curious Copse, but you'll need to have learned El Vibrato numbers, which you can do at the Education Facility in the Curious Abandoned Well.
Armed with the knowledge of numbers, you can calibrate the Solar Array & Coffeemaker at Curious Copse.
This will give you a single, perfect cup of coffee. ;)
The key just appears in your inventory. Maybe you missed the message saying so? Check your quest items.
I'm thinking there is because I can reroute to Southwest Construction but Abandoned Mine is West Central Storage, so that implies there's something south of it. Still, the map does say it's desolate...
Also, how did you activate the Anti-Bob procedure? Where is that?
That's part of what's made me suspicious about the desert as well.
Then again, the El Vibrato room in the Abandoned Mine (just above the southern desert) is called "West Central Storage Facility", which kind of implies that the Southwest Construction area is even further south, like... off-map.
A thought I had is that the desert might be planned as the starting point for future content, DLC or something? Saw something on reddit to that effect as well, so... maybe.
Reroute the power from the Curious Flat Plain and the Curious False Mountain to Roberto Containment.
You also need to get the cross-shaped El Vibrato thing (forget the name, sorry) from one of the altars in Deepest Delve Mine, and use it to fix the machine in the Roberto Containment facility at the bottom of the mine.
Also manufactured bunch of hedbands (- 5 mysticality) and "un-crazed" bunch of cultists and even one shop owner.
I think i found how to construct the bridge, but where does it go?
The bridge is for the train, instead of building it out of wood or bone.
Yeah, sorry if that wasn't clear.
I've checked out reddit as well, and there aren't any other El Vibrato things mentioned there that we haven't mentioned here, so, iunno. Maybe that's it?
I've gotten moon bits once as a drop from a random El Vibrato drone fight while wandering.
As for the power rerouting options... yeah... it feels like there's something else there. But maybe not?
The most likely, it would seem to me, is something to power the food/consumable-making thingy. Then again, maybe not, because if you didn't need fluid anymore to make El Vibrato consumables, that might be a bit too overpowered.
