The Answer is 4 pulls of the first, 2 pulls of the second, and 6 pulls of the final lever. I found this out thanks to watching a Let's Play and using algebra. If anyone is kind enough, gift me said game in gratitude for the answer?

the #3 bolt gives 411
the #5 bolt gives 295
the #7 one gives 161

You need to add them together to get 3200, so what you want to do is:
3, 3, 3, 3, 7, 5, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 5

Not a big fan of this puzzle, having to pull out a pen and paper disrupts gameflow imo

the first activation of the #3 bolt gives me 1028 for some reason

you have to keep putting more pressure until it exceeds 3200, prompting a reset.

leaving the input screen won't reset it

How do you solve it mathmatically? 411x+295y+161z=3200 is as far as i got

You don't really even need to remember the specific number of times to press each button, if you just remember that the 1s place digits needs to end up at 0. (...because the right-most digit in 3200 is 0.)

There aren't a lot of ways to do that, and very few that get you anywhere close to 3200. (Don't forget that you can only press each button a maximum of 8 times. That restricts your options down to a small handful that get you close to 3200.)

The short version is this: You press the 1 and 3 buttons a total of 10 times. (4 and 6, specifically.) Then you press the 2 button an even number of times. (2, specifically.)
