Necromancers Lair

Anyone figured out how to get to the Necromancer? I have everything together, it seems i'm only missing some Knowledge about Mushrooms. (Tried talking to the weird stoned people that are obviously ON shrooms, but they are no help...)

Thanks for the reply but I mean the clues regarding "Necromancers Diary" It's one of 2 hidden sicequests that are hard to complete. (You need to find tiny clues everywhere, which are stored in a "Necromancers Diary") All this will lead you to a tower. And in that tower is the necromancer i want to kill. (The other sidequest is about the Vibrator Ruins, have problems figuring that one out aswell)

You need to check the military records in a cabinet in one of the buildings in Fort Darkness. it will have a report listing a soldier that died of mushroom poisoning was buried at plot 420 in the military graveyard to the north. Go to graveyard, enter 420 as the plot you want to visit and you will get a book on shrooms. Use that, you get a shroom knowledge perk, read yer necro journal again and boom, that clue should now be solved

You get the book from Doc Alice at the mushroom cave if she is your companion.

You get the password from the Buffalo Mound, slightly south of the tower.

he means how to get there. i've tried to figure this out, even wandering about 25 times near helstrom ranch where it says the lair might be, but i cant find anything. help?

If you're reading your Necromancer Journal and not discovering where the lair is, you're still missing some clues. Go search more spooky places.

Also, as an aside, you don't need any mushrooms or anything for anything Necromancer related. Finding where they grow can be helpful though!

To actually find the lair, you need the full Necromancer Diary. From there, you need to go to Hellstrom Ranch (or maybe any location near it?) and then read the diary again when there. You don't find it via wandering.

Knowledge of mushrooms is unnecessary for that particular quest. (I mean, it isn't *ever* needed, but it can save you some meat.)

You can read the journal anywhere to unlock the lair. Doesn't have to be at Hellstrom Ranch or anywhere near it.

You can't find it by wandering you need to read dem book

i seem to be running into a glitch i have the complete necromancers journal with all 4 clues and the requirments ment ive tripple checked everything but for some reason reading the journal dose not reveal its location for me even have the password and everything
