"...more traces of El Vibrato technology" in Lost Dutch Oven Mine [Update: Resolved, for the most part]
I'm at a point where one of my pardner's suggestions is to search the Lost Dutch Oven Mine for more traces of El Vibrato technology.

I've gone to Lost Dutch Oven mine a few times since my first visit, wandered down to the lowest level I can reach (the wall of rocks or w/e it is, where "the voice in my head is telling me to leave" or some such), and have yet to find anything new.

Am I walking right past something interactable without noticing it?

Or is this one of those, "It'll become available eventually" kind of things. (Like if I find a way to go past that wall of rocks without the voice telling me to leave.)

I don't know what caused it, but I managed to get the rocks open on my second visit, which was immedialtly after my first. It's either: don't investigate the horrible things there (They build up to the telling me to leave each time you bump into the horrible bits). or maybe it's spoooky resist. Hope that helps.

Now, the REST of the El Vibrato stuff? Heh, good luck because I'm as lost as you right now.

Might also be the gas mask you get towards the entrance: I had Spooky resist from a passive and got into the mine that way, but still got rebuffed from the rocks when I wasn't wearing it. Came back with it, got in first try.

So I just went back there, tried a few things, and got the rocks cleared away. Here were my observations:

1. I have 20% to all resistances from Uncanny Presence. (I also have another 20% to hot/cold resistance, not sure what it's from, but I don't think it's relevant here.)
2. I don't have any spooky resist gear, but I have two pieces of stench resist: the gas mask and sweet smellin' flowers.
3. I put on both pieces, walked through the room -- passing near each object that gives a pop-up about getting wierded out -- and when I got to the rocks, I couldn't open them.
4. So, I left the room, went back in and this time I avoided the objects that give the pop-ups. (Or rather, I managed to avoid all but one.) When I got to the rocks, I got a new menu with options of how to remove the rocks.
5. Before I removed the rocks, I tried one more thing; I left the room again, took off the stench resist pieces and went back into the room; again, I avoided the objects that give the pop-ups as much as possible....and again, I got the menu options about removing the rocks. (I then cleared them away successfully.)

So, my conclusions (and a little conjecture, just for fun):
1. If there is a resistant requirement for this, it's less than 20%. (And of which type of resistance, I don't know. If it happens to be hot/cold -- which I kinda doubt -- then it could be as high as 40%. But either spooky or stench seem more likely to be relevant here.)
2. Avoiding the objects that give you the various pop-ups about needing to leave the room seems to be the real key to being able to move the rocks.
3. I got one (and only one) of the pop-ups each time I made it to the rocks and got the menu that let me clear away the rocks. I don't know how many such pop-ups are possible...but I'd guess it's the first three: "You start to feel uneasy," "The hair on the back of your neck stands up,"
and "Your heart is pounding." After that (on the 4th pop-up), you get the message "You have to get out of this pit right now," which I'd guess is the point at which you can no longer interact with the rocks. Just a guess, though.

Anyhow, thanks for the help, folks \(^^

Well, I can say it is not spooky resist, because I don't have any. I was able to progress further by wearing both the gas mask and holding the flowers (30% stench resist) on my second entering of the cave.

it's much easier than that. simply touching too many 'scary' stuff in this room (skeletons or scribbles) will make you panic, rendering the stones useless until you leave the screen and come back. simply don't touch too many things, and all's fine.
